행원.

행원은 일제강점기 때 권번으로 사용되던 곳으로, 남전 허산옥이 인수하여 요정(料亭)으로 운영하였습니다. 남전은 대한민국미술전람회에서 여러 차례 입선한 당대 유명 화가로, 어려운 예술가들을 돕는 숨은 후견인 역할도 했습니다.

그의 행원에는 유명한 소리꾼들이 모여 그들의 소리를 들을 수 있었습니다. 6・25전쟁 당시 전주로 피난 온 박초월, 김소희, 김연수, 임방울 등도 남전의 후원을 받았습니다.

1983년경에는 전라북도 무형문화재 판소리(적벽가) 보유자인 성준숙이 인수하여 한정식집으로 사용하다가, 현재는 한옥카페로 운영되고 있습니다.

살구꽃 만발한 동산에 자리한 행원에서 남전의 이야기는 예향에서 만날 수 있는 아름다운 미담입니다.

A Space Embodying Art and Tradition, The Story of Haengwon in Jeonju

Haengwon is During the Japanese colonial period, a place used as a gwonbeon (a Korean traditional art school for gisaeng) was acquired by Namjeon Heo San-ok and operated as a ryotei (a type of traditional Japanese restaurant).

Namjeon was a renowned painter of the time, having been selected several times in the National Art Exhibition of Korea (1949–1981), and he played a role as a hidden patron who supported struggling artists in the region.

His establishment, Haengwon, attracted top traditional Korean singers from across the country, who came to perform their art. During the Korean War, refugees in Jeonju, including Park Cho-wol, Kim So-hee, Kim Yeon-su, and Im Bang-ul, were among those supported by Namjeon.

Around 1983, Song Jun-suk, the holder of Jeollabuk-do Intangible Cultural Heritage Pansori (Jeokbyeokga), acquired the place and used it as a Korean traditional restaurant (hanjeongshik). It is currently used as a hanok cafe.

The story of Namjeon, who lived without losing his fragrance on the apricot blossom hill of Haengwon, is a beautiful tale that can be encountered in this cultural hub.

芸術と伝統が宿る空間, 全州の行院の物語

行院, 日本統治時代に権番として使われていた場所を南田（ナムジョン）ホ・サンオクが買収し、料亭として運営しました。南田は国展（大韓民国美術展覧会、1949～1981）でも何度も入選するなど、当時有名な画家として名声を博し、地域の困難な芸術家たちを支援する隠れた後見人の役割も果たしました。

彼が運営していた行院には、都の一流のソリクン（伝統音楽の歌い手）たちが集まり、彼らの歌声を聴くことができました。朝鮮戦争当時、全州に避難していたパク・チョウォル、キム・ソヒ、キム・ヨンス、イム・バンウルらも南田の支援を受けた人々です。

1983年頃、全羅北道無形文化財パンソリ（赤壁歌）保有者のソン・ジュンスクが買収し、韓定食店として使用された後、現在は韓屋カフェとして使用されています。

杏の花が満開の丘、行院で香りを失わずに生きた南田の物語は、芸術の香りが漂うこの地で出会える美談です。
